Quartz Components

Quartz windows TCS Technologies manufacturs a wide variety of quartz plates to fit most ultraviolet systems. Normally used to isolate the ultraviolet lamp; it allows copious amounts of cooling air to be impinged on the substrate without fear of overcooling the lamp. The more air the cooler the process. Edges are ground smooth and polished. Plates can be repeatedly cleaned. We can produce almost any size thickness required.

Optically coated quartz

We can also provide flat quartz plates that incorporate a vacuum deposited metal film. The film reflects infrared back to the lamp and transmits ultraviolet. This is known as a hot mirror.

Curved profiles are also available with a special IR transmitting, ultraviolet reflecting coating known as a cold mirror. Unfortunately any optically coated material has limited cleaning ability due to the nature of the vacuum coating.

Water jackets

TCS can fabricate any size cooling tube from the highest quality quartz available. We can also economically clean and restore existing cooling tubes.
