Replacement Ultraviolet Curing Lamps

Ultraviolet curing, also known as UV curing is a photochemical process where ultraviolet light is used to instantly cure or “dry” adhesives, varnish (coatings) or inks. Considered a Green Technology, UV curing has minimal impact on the environment. Typical advantages include lower operating costs, increased production speed, reduced energy requirements, excellent solvent and scratch resistance and elimination of solvent recovery costs.

Serving the graphic arts, converting, digital printing and coating industries, UV curing applications include prefinished hardwood flooring, molding, trim and other woodwork, printing presses, plastic decorating equipment, marking-coding equipment, UV inkjet printing, cabinet doors and furniture components. Applications include lacquers or clear top coats to pigmented inks and coatings.
